Dear Andy,
We cannot thank you enough for the excellent job your shop did with our
1991 Calypso Red BMW 850i. As you know, the car was severely damaged in an
accident prior to us owning it. We never would have believed that it could
have possibly been restored even close to its original factory conidition.
Not only were you able to restore it to its original factory condition but
you had to do so without the benefit of the availability of parts due to
the age and make of the car. Your ingenuity, creativity, and skillful
dedication all came together in the recreation of an automotive
masterpiece.
We also thank you and your crew for having the car ready in time for it to
be featured in a photo shoot for Hemmings Sports and Exotic Car Magazine,
December 2006 issue. Given the lack of available parts, the extent of
damage to the car, and the time pressure with which you were under, mere
words cannot express our sincere gratitude and appreciation.
Doing business with you is a pleasure. Because of your friendliness,
sincerity and overall honest concern for quality work at a fair price, we
absolutely highly recommend you to everyone we know. You are an asset to
your field.
Again, we cannot thank you enough.
Sincerely,
Frank C

Dear Andy,
Anyone who knows me knows I am a total nut about keeping my 1995 325iC in
showroom condition. After Small Cars closed I was at a total loss to find
someone who could fix some rocker panel scrapes caused by road debris. I
was so happy when I found out Andy was at Kos Tom. In fact, as soon as I
found out I brought my car there for repairs.
Sometime afterwards, my grill was pushed in thanks to a SUV's trailer
hitch. As soon as it happened, I called Andy and had it taken care of.
When I came to pick up the car Andy asked me to look at the repairs. My
comment was I could not see any evidence of repairs -- the car just looked
like it came off the showroom floor-- which is exactly what I wanted.
Thanks very much!
Sincerely,
Jeff J

I have known Andy Petaludis since 1995 when he was the primary
painter at Small Car Collision in Flushing, NY. Andy has done
work on all my BMW's (10) since that time, ranging from completing
minor touch-ups to a complete down-to-the-metal restoration of
my 1990 BMW M3 Sport Evolution. The quality of the paintwork
is up to factory standards and I would be hesitant to take my cars
anywhere else.
Recently at Kos-Tom, Andy completed a full 'M' body kit installation
on my 2007 530xi Touring and installed a new rear bumper on my
2003 540i Sport. The quality of work I came to know at Small
Car has been carried over to Kos-Tom and I can highly recommend
having Andy and his team complete any level of work on your BMW.
Best Regards,

Dear Andy,
Being the owner of a brand new RL, I was saddened when my car was hit.
Honestly I was thinking the car would never be the same, but after
speaking to Tom and Andy at Kos-Tom Collision I felt much better. Not
only did they do a fantastic job, they even took pictures for me and
explained everything they were doing during the repair which made me
feel at ease. If you're picky about your car like I am, you'll be
glad you chose Kos-Tom.
Best Regards,
Sam

Mr. Donald Ploetner (owner)
BMW Of Oyster Bay
Oyster Bay NY 11771
Dear Mr. Ploetner,
I am writing this letter to tell you how satisfied I am with the service
that I received from Oyster Bay BMW and Kos-Tom Collision.
On the evening of January 5th, 2007, I was involved in an auto accident. I
called the BMW showroom and spoke with Mr. George Tanner. He assured me
that when I spoke with the service deaprtment the following Monday,
everything would be taken care of.
My car was towed and stored on Friday night. It was flat-bedded to BMW of
Oyster Bay early Saturday morning. On Monday morning, January 8, 2007, I
went to the Service Department and spoke with Bret Hines, who told me that
my car would be flat-bedded to Kos-Tom Collision in Richmond Hill. That
same afternoon both Andy from Kos-Tom and Bret called me to say that my
car was in Kos-Tom's possession.
Each day that week, I was in communication with Andy from Kos-Tom regarding
either repair or insurance situations. When Andy realized that my car
needed additional parts amd more work than originally planned, he called
both my insurance adjuster and me immediately.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND KOS-TOM COLLISION. They are courteous, professional,
and perform impeccable work.
Mr. Ploetner, I had been doing business with BMW Rallye Motors of Roslyn
for the past twelve years and had become very dissatisfied with their sales
and service departments. I decided to lease my 330Xi from Oyster Bay.
From the time that my car was leasued through Charlie through the time that
my car was being repaired, the service that I received from Oyster Bay BMW
and Kos-Tom Collision was fantastic.
Sincerely,
Janet R

From: Steve Bernstein, Newsletter Editor
NY Chapter BMW Car Club of America
In the summer of 2007, as Newsletter Editor of the New York Chapter, I was asked to
write an article about the new BMWs and the aluminum frames that were introduced in
the 5-series back in 2004. Andy and his Chief Welder showed me the details in the
process for aluminum frame repair.
They not only provided excellent photos of each step of the process, but they also
took the time to explain the procedures and the reasons behind them. These people
proved to me that they are well qualified to repair modern BMWs. I use Kos-Tom
Collision for all my bodywork needs and would never hesitate to recommend them. As
well, Andy Petaludis has been a long-time friend of the BMW Car Club of America
and provides members exceptional attention for their BMWs.
Sincerely,
.steve.
